Vienna City Centre Wedding

This wedding was held in the centre of Vienna on a warm June day. It started with a small civil ceremony at the Standesamt in the 9th district, which has a simple interior with white walls and lots of light, but was cozy nevertheless. After the ceremony we went to Liechtensteinpark to do a post-wedding shoot for the couple and make some group pictures in front of Gartenpalais Liechtenstein. This park is one of our favourites in central Vienna due to its lush diverse greenery and relatively low crowds. The international couple had a deep connection, and it translated beautifully into the photos — emotional, creative shots on a soft green field and by a shaded pond. A kind of stillness you rarely get in the middle of the city.

The celebration continued at ViENNABallhaus, a truly special venue tucked away behind old façades. Guests had drinks in a cosy inner garden while music played softly in the background, and later moved inside for dinner and dancing. The evening had a laid-back elegance — it wasn’t over-styled, just honest and full of warmth. The mood and light gave us plenty of room to play photographically.
