Destination wedding In England

This multicultural destination wedding near Liverpool took place during a bright summer day in June 2026. Set in and around a historic sandstone mansion and its surrounding grounds, the celebration brought together two cultures — with a middle Asian bride and a European groom creating a wedding that was both deeply personal and visually unique. As this time we have known the couple for a while before their wedding we were very happy to attend and capture their wedding in our vintage cinematic style of wedding photography.

We started with a short pre-wedding session earlier in the day before covering the full wedding from midday through to the evening celebrations. The combination of traditional bridal attire and the elegant rural setting shaped the visual direction of the couple’s portraits. As the bride’s dress was richly decorated and not designed for active movement, and the midday summer sun was especially strong, we chose a more subtle and refined photographic approach — focusing on still, cinematic moments that complemented both the location and the couple’s presence.

We did have to take a few breaks because of the heat and heavy outfits, but the whole experience was very fun and nice.

Being close friends of the couple, it was especially important for us to capture both sides of their personality — their elegance as well as their playful energy — and reflect the atmosphere of the day as it naturally shifted from calm daylight portraits to the vibrant evening celebrations.

We learned towards this rather vintage style that works well with the traditional outfits and for the sandstone mansion wedding. The difficult but fun part was to make a small selection for this gallery so it’s small enough to post on the website.
