About us
Fedor is the most creative person I know. Always full of artistic drive and wild ideas, he lives in a constant chaotic stream of consciousness that is hard to stop. It can be hard to figure out what he’s talking about (with all the convoluted metaphors), but I can always certainly say what his photos are about. Not afraid to try whatever comes to his mind, however strange it might seem at first, he is unmatched in the ability to find new ways to create photographs that deeply resonate.

As silent observers with our genuine interest in people, we excel at capturing the meaningful moments that make life worth living. We feel things deeply, and photography for us is the creative tool that can help depict and share those feelings.
Anna’s world is beautiful and atmospheric, I would say it’s like an Icelandic island in the ocean or sunlight falling onto slopes of grassy dunes. In the craft of photography, she sees plots that many won’t notice, full of meaning and feelings and finds little details that make her art so special. Anna is quite a perfectionist which helps her to push concepts until it’s almost impossible to make them any better and that’s why her photographic style is so excellent.
our philosophy
At Comet Photography, we believe that every love story is beautiful and has a depth that no outsider can grasp fully. Nevertheless, we strive to show a whole range of meanings behind each wedding, concentrating not only on the obvious big feelings, but also more subtle and abstract ones. We do this by approaching each wedding like an artistic project and creating some abstract experimental images along with more classic portrait shots. Combining film and digital and using techniques of Fine Art Photography, we create bold pictures that stand out on their own and tell a story all together. This way each couple gets a gallery that not only documents your wedding day as it is, but goes deeper than that.

Fedor’s holistic view combined with Anna’s eye for detail ensures we get a mix of shots no one of us can match individually. Together, we create rich photo stories that capture your love from multiple angles and perspectives.
FUn Facts
Outside of photography, you can find us exploring the most romantic places in Europe, trying out other art forms, or just having a cosy evening with our cat and a nice movie or video game. We are on a constant lookout for new adventures and things to try out.
✦ We originally come from Estonia and Russia and have lived together in England and Germany, before finding a home in Vienna.
✦ Our favourite directors are David Lynch, Wong Kar Wai and Krzysztof Kieślowski.
✦ Fedor used to be a tour guide and Anna has a degree in physics, but our passion for art is what truly brings us together.
✦ We named our cat Ilford, because he is black and white, just like our favourite analogue film.
